CT DMHAS Prevention Programs EDC is working with the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services to provide training, technical assistance, and tools to assist substance abuse prevention staff in the state of Connecticut. The project focuses on unifying statewide prevention planning, implementing effective programs, and measuring systems change. The project will identify effective local programs and promote their effectiveness nationally. This project evolved out of the work of the Northeast CAPT, EDC's youth substance abuse prevention project.
